The politicalized accusations and harsh language from some on the far political left are exactly the kind of unwise political rhetoric about which the unfounded accusations against the Tea Party, Sarah Palin and even Fox News are being made.

Rep. Giffords once began an op-ed piece for the Arizona Jewish Post with a proud recital of her family roots, explaining that she is the grandchild of Akiba Hornstein, who was “the son of a Lithuanian rabbi.” She’s also a staunch supporter of the State of Israel.

Congresswoman Giffords’ Jewish roots, staunch support for Israel

According to Charlotte Conservative News, the American media, has largely been ignoring facts about Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords’ background. She is a lifetime member of Hadassah and an active member of the Chaverim congregration.

According to the Tel Aviv News, Giffords once began an op-ed piece for the Arizona Jewish Post with a proud recital of her family roots, explaining that she is the grandchild of Akiba Hornstein, who was “the son of a Lithuanian rabbi.”

Rep. Giffords wrote in 2006, “Until the Palestinian leadership and other hostile regimes are willing to accept Israel’s right to exist, it will be impossible to achieve peace.” She also stated, “I got to see firsthand [on a trip to Israel] the sacrifices that Israelis make in the name of security because of the dangerous state of affairs there. I will always be a strong supporter of Israel.”

Jewish congressional aide among the victims

Sadly, The Yeshiva World reports that a Jewish staffer of the Congresswoman is one of the murder victims –Giffords Jewish Staffer Gabe Zimmerman, 30 years old, Rep. Gabrielle Giffords’ director of community outreach, is confirmed dead and had been on Giffords’ staff since 2007.

Numerous media such as Tucson’s KTLA are now reporting that witnesses describe the gunman as a “loner” and “philosophical.” The worldwide Jewish news site Haaretz.com, among many media, notes the shooter of Jewish Congresswoman listed ‘Mein Kampf’ and the Communist Manifesto as two of his favorite books. Her killer may have been stalking Rep. Giffords as early as 2007; i.e., before Sarah Palin was on the national scene and before anyone had ever heard of the Tea Party.

Gunman attended leftwing school

Additionally, Jared Lee Loughner attended a high school that uses radical curriculum from a group founded by an unrepentent Sixties radical that has been tied to the assassination of an LEO and explosions at police stations around the U.S.; i.e., Bill Ayers.

See report in reference to a specific example of anti-American curriculum reported by a former Tucson teacher that denounced such curriculum used at a Tucson magnet school because of radical indoctrination allegedly occurring there.

The Small School Workshop, originally a project of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge(CAC), was previously headed up by Mike Klonsky who once taught in the University’s education department alongside Ayers. The group was headquartered for a time inside the university’s department of education building.

Obama provided the group with funds in the 1990s when he worked group alongside Ayers as a result of their affiliation with CAC. Loughner attended Mountain View High School, part of Arizona’s Morana Unified School District. Starting in 2003, Mountain View was involved with the Smaller Learning Communities and Loughner attended there from 9th grade until he withdrew without graduating before his senior year.

The high school received grants to research the concepts of Smaller Learning Communities and to implement the concepts. Ayers helped found the Smaller Learning Community’s network of schools, in which he also lectured. One of Ayers’ most significant contributions to educational theory is the focus on introducing Marxist ideology into public school curriculum. Small Schools Workshop provides support for teachers who want to create smaller learning environments. Ayers recruited Mike Klonsky to head the Workshop on which Klonsky still serves as director.

In 1995, with Obama as its chairman, the newly formed Chicago Annenberg Challenge, or CAC, a school reform organization, gave the Workshop a grant of $175,000. The CAC provided another $482,662 to the Workshop over the next few years.

Ayers was allegedly instrumental in recruiting Obama to serve as the CAC’s first chairman. The record of exactly how and when President Obama and Bill Ayers interacted while working with the Annenberg Foundation has been the subject of a great deal of controversy.

Nevertheless, there is evidence that has surfaced indicating that Bill Ayers brought Mr. Obama into powerful positions with more than one tax-exempt foundation and large amounts of foundation money to influence education in the direction of “progressive” change:

The CAC’s basic functioning has long been known, because its annual reports, evaluations and some board minutes were public. But the Daley archive contains additional board minutes, the Collaborative minutes, and documentation on the groups that CAC funded and rejected. The Daley archives show that Mr. Obama and Mr. Ayers worked as a team to advance the CAC agenda.

Ayers served as co-chairman of the Chicago School Reform Collaborative, one of the two operational arms of the CAC. Klonsky served with Ayers and Ayers’ wife, former Weatherman terrorist, Bernardine Dohrn, in the Students for a Democratic Society group, a major leftist student organization in the 1960s that later splintered, with Ayers and Dohrn leading a more activist approach via the Weatherman Underground.

Klonsky reportedly gravitated toward less violent but equally revolutionary methods in the struggle to overthrow capitalism. By 1977, Klonsky had become leader of the Marxist-Leninist Communist Party, identified himself as a Maoist, and traveled that year to Beijing, where he met with Chinese leaders.

Max Elbaum, a former Maoist activist, states in his book, “REVOLUTION IN THE AIR,” that while in Beijing, Klonsky’s organization was virtually recognized as the official U.S. Maoist party. Thus, we have now have a partial picture as to where the deranged Mr. Loughner obtained his view of the world and his predilection for attacking innocent people in Tucson. Loughner’s views about Israel that we expect to surface as the Tucson investigation proceeds are likely to track very closely with standard leftwing dogma.
